Cookie policy

What storage we use and how to change your consent.

Effective date: 22 May 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can remember your choices or anonymously measure traffic. Alongside cookies we also use similar technologies (such as browser localStorage); for brevity we refer to all of them as "cookies" below.

2. Cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary (always active)

Name Type Purpose Retention Provider
jh_cookie_consent localStorage stores your choice from the cookie banner persistent (until you clear it) jirihavlas.cz

This entry is necessary for the consent mechanism to work — without it we would have to display the banner on every visit.

2.2 Analytics (only with your consent)

Name Type Purpose Retention Provider
_ga HTTP cookie distinguishes users in Google Analytics 4 2 years Google Ireland Ltd.
_ga_7LTXDZN0YX HTTP cookie persists GA4 session state 2 years Google Ireland Ltd.

These cookies are stored only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Before consent, we use Consent Mode v2 — Google Analytics loads in an anonymous cookieless mode and none of the cookies above are stored.

2.3 Third-party cookies (Calendly)

If you open the Calendly booking widget on our site (e.g. on the Contact page), Calendly may set its own cookies (e.g. bot-protection or functional cookies). These fall under Calendly's policy: calendly.com/legal/privacy-notice.

3. Consent and withdrawal

On your first visit we display a banner with two options:

You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie settings in the footer of any page. The same effect is achieved by clearing cookies and localStorage in your browser settings.
