This policy explains how the website jirihavlas.cz handles personal data of its visitors in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on Personal Data Processing.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) because we are not legally required to do so.

2. What data we process and why

2.1 Website visits (analytics)

• Data: truncated IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, visit times, referral source.
• Purpose: measuring traffic and improving the website.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), granted via the cookie banner. No analytics cookies are stored without consent.
• Tool: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited).

2.2 Consultation booking via Calendly

• Data: name, e-mail, and any additional information you provide in the booking form.
• Purpose: arranging a consultation time.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Tool: Calendly LLC (USA).

2.3 Direct contact via e-mail, phone, or WhatsApp

• Data: contact details you provide and the contents of the communication.
• Purpose: handling your enquiry and possibly establishing cooperation.
• Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective clients (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Recipients and processors

We share your data only with the following processors, to the extent necessary for the purposes above:

Where required by law, we may also disclose data to public authorities.

4. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some processors (Calendly, Railway) are based in the USA. Transfers take place on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or under the processor's participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

5. Retention period

• Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_…): max. 24 months from your last visit.
• Calendly booking data: for the duration of our communication and further per Calendly's rules.
• E-mail and similar communications: until resolved and then for as long as needed to protect our rights (usually 3 years).

Once these periods expire, we delete or anonymise the data.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• access your personal data;
• have it rectified or completed;
• have it erased ("right to be forgotten");
• restrict the processing;
• data portability;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• withdraw consent at any time (e.g. via Cookie settings);
• lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz/en) if you believe the processing breaches the law.
